Phase 3
For Phase 3 of the Key Visual campaign, the creative direction shifted to place greater emphasis on RMIT's world-class facilities while introducing a surreal visual treatment. The concept required a highly complex composition, seamlessly blending real campus environments with imaginative, larger-than-life elements to create an aspirational yet authentic representation of the RMIT experience. The concept involved a highly complex composition, merging authentic photography with our students - main talents to reinforce the university's inspiring and future-focused learning environment.
The RMIT Pixel became a central design feature of the campaign, transforming from a simple brandmark into a storytelling device. It framed authentic moments of learning, connected diverse disciplines, and created a dynamic window into the RMIT experience. By integrating the Pixel directly into the visual narrative, the campaign celebrated one of RMIT's most iconic brand assets while reinforcing a bold and contemporary brand presence.
The concept reinforces RMIT as an environment where students are empowered to grow, challenge convention, and shape the future with confidence. The surreal scale of the giant students serves as a visual metaphor for personal transformation, innovation, and limitless potential, bringing the Ready for What's Next brand line to life through an imaginative and memorable visual narrative.
